Ichiban Steakhouse Review: Pittsburgh PA
Hello Everyone! This post is about my favorite Japanese Steakhouse in America! I have been going to this Hibachi Restaurant since I was a little kid, and have spent almost every birthday dinner here. In the southern states I have learned there are not many Japanese Steakhouses unless you want to go to a chain, so while I was visiting up North I had to make sure I stopped in to grab a bite!
First up you get seated and are handed the menu. Ichiban has traditional Japanese food, but you can see the full menu here: http://ichibanhibachisteakhouse.com/menu.php?s=m
With the hibachi dinner you are served a house salad with awesome ginger dressing sauce, miso soup, app shrimp, fried rice, vegetables, lo main, and your choice of entree (Vegetable, shrimp, steak, chicken, scallops and more). Then after you are served you get “Yum Yum” sauce, and to this day is the best shrimp sauce I have ever had.
I always love the show with dinner, and the staff always has great stories to share.
My personal favorite at any Hibachi style restaurant : Hibachi Chicken
My wife’s favorite Hibachi Vegetable, you can get tofu in this vegan option but she doesn’t like tofu so she had it left out.
This is the owner Rodger, and he was so thrilled to see I made a visit. If you are ever in the Pittsburgh area visiting Kennywood, or just in town; be sure to visit this place for some great Japanese food, and a great dinner experience!
