Busch Gardens Tampa Bay Christmas Town 2018 Review

Merry Christmas Everyone! Its that time of the year again, and we here at Theme Park HD are in the Christmas Mood!

This post will cover special decorations, shows and Christmastime point of views of the roller coasters at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay Florida. This year Christmas town is extended by popular demand until Jan 6th.

If you are one for shows, Busch Gardens put on great events that are something you don’t want to miss out on!

You can experience a stunning performance by the creators of the award-winning “Turn It Up!” get ready to be in the Christmas mood as world-class skaters celebrate the many wonders of the Holidays in the family favorite show, “Christmas on Ice”.

Or you can rejoice in the glory of the season in “Christmas from the Heart”, the contemporary Christian gospel celebration located inside the Stanleyville Theater.

My Favorite part about the Christmas season is all of the lights, so you can head on over to Busch Gardens’ Serengeti Overlook Restaurant. The Building sets the stage for Carol of the Bells, featuring tens of thousands of Christmas lights choreographed to seasonal music.

For a delight to the ears you can check out another music event located in the Bird Gardens, the Three Kings Journey Show unites magical voices in perfect harmony, telling the story about the humble town of Bethlehem.

For the Kiddos, or fans of Sesame Street you can visit “Sesame Street Safari of Fun”. Join Elmo, the Cookie Monster, Zoe, Rosita and Grover as they learn the true meaning of Christmas in “Elmo’s Christmas Wish”.

After a long day at the theme park, sit down and soak up the warm Florida weather as The Christmas Town Band brings a Jazzy Twist to traditional Christmas music. Set on the Zagora Patio, the band embodies the actual reason for the season.

Journey through the captivating light tunnel connecting the Congo and Stanleyville areas; this breathtaking pathway is the perfect place for this year’s holiday photo. You can see a POV below:

Another area of the Park that has special lighting is in the entrance area near Morroco. Blue lights create frozen sights, sparkle and shimmer in the night as a live angel sculptures welcomes guests, and bright white garland wraps the front of the Moroccan Palace; home to the Christmas on Ice show mentioned above!

There is also parts of the park that are decorated like “Flamingo Way” over by Gwazi, and “Bird Gardens” which is definitely worth checking out!

Christmas town operates all of their rides *weather permitting* and is open late to enjoy all of its offerings!
