Valentines Day at Magic Kingdom!
REVIEW: Walt Disney World Fantasyland Early Morning Magic

Walt Disney World is known for their festive celebrations and Fourth of July is no exception! Independence Day is celebrated throughout the Disney parks but primarily at Epcot and Magic Kingdom. Epcot features a Fourth of July themed edition of their classic firework spectacular, ‘Illuminations – Reflections of Earth’ and over at the American Pavilion, ‘The Voices of Liberty’ perform! At Magic Kingdom we got to enjoy jamming out to music from just about every decade and genre at their Castle Hub dance party and the classic ‘Celebrate America!’ firework show!

The park was definitely dressed in it’s Fourth of July best from decorations, to music, to smiling Cast Members.

Aside from New Years, Fourth of July is one of the busiest and most festive times to visit Walt Disney World. With parks reaching capacity and even removing many trashcans to make room for the crowds of celebrating people, it can be overwhelming.

Disney made several editions to their July celebrations this year in efforts to lessen the rush of the crowds exiting the park. On the 3rd and 4th of July, the park stayed open three hours after the fireworks show and hosted a dance party in each themed land. They even changed the prices of select snacks and drinks to just $2 after the fireworks in their effort to keep the crowds from exiting all at once. To avoid the after-fireworks rush, it’s important to remember all the different options you have when traveling from Magic Kingdom to the Ticket and Transportation Center (MK parking) and vice versa. The two busiest modes of transportation are the Monorail and Ferry Boats, but a lesser known tip is that guests also have the option of taking a bus to TTC (Ticket and Transportation Center) as well.

The Fourth of July fireworks at Magic Kingdom are truly one of a kind. Surrounding you, this 360 degree firework spectacular dazzles guests for a solid 15 minutes of patriotic magic in the sky! The ensemble of narration, music, and fireworks is a beautiful and respectful salute to all who sacrificed so much for the freedoms we get to enjoy in our beautiful country.

If you get the opportunity to experience the salute in the sky of ‘Celebrate America’, I definitely recommend it!
