Hello Everyone! One of the new roller coasters for the 2019 season is now open! It is located at Carowinds in the Carolinas. The All-new Copperhead Strike is here, and it is a perfect addition to the park.
On media day we were able to experience important members of the park opening the brand new ride. Below you can hear from Pat Jones (Pres. of Carowinds), John Taylor (Manager of Sales & Merchandising), Dwayne Parish (South Carolina Commissioner), and Lisa Stryker (Director of Communications).

After Lisa finished her presentation up next was Dwayne Parish, Commissioner of South Carolina explains just what the Copperhead Strike will bring to the State.
John Taylor Wraps up the Opening Media Day Presentation and Hands a BIG check to the Make-a-Wish Foundation with money raised from the first rider auction.
After all the presentations were finished it was time for what I was truly waiting. Time to ride the Copperhead Strike! This double launch coaster is a wonderful addition to the park, enjoy this rear-facing POV of the Copperhead strike courtesy of Carowinds!
