Great Wolf Lodge Concord North Carolina 

Hey Everyone! I am so excited to share with you my experience at The Great Wolf Lodge in Concord, North Carolina.

Every room has a balcony and it’s awesome because the lodge plays ambient wilderness noises outside so if you sit outside it provides the perfect get away from the everyday hectic life.

I had the bottom floor and this was the view.

This wristband is awesome! It is a Water Park Pass, Room Key, and a Charge Card! It’s Finally Time Resorts start using this technology, I was Super Happy when I got to use these!

As soon as you walk into the Great wolf you are welcomed to with this hand-crafted sign!

The Great Clock Tower Show takes place daily at 10 a.m. and 8 and 9 p.m. Forest friends come to life, enchanting guests with Northwoods songs, stories, jokes and more. Children cherish the opportunity to interact with these sweet, funny personalities, and laughter and joy make the best family memories!

At the Great Wolf there is so much to do at the resort, they have the usual spas, fitness centers, and business rooms; but the Great Wolf Lodge has tons of activities that are great for both children and adults. Embark on Magical Quests throughout the lodge and take part in the adventure of a lifetime! MagiQuest turns the Great Wolf Lodge into your own personal playground. First you have to choose a special magic wand (The wands are sold separately but you can take it to any Great Wolf Lodge to play MagiQuest again), pick your powers, and you’re off on your quest. Immerse yourself in Vellara- a realm of enchantment, as you befriend Pixies, battle Charlock, the evil dragon and fight to defeat the Goblin King.

MagiQuest can be played from 15 minutes up to 3 hours, and you don’t have to “finish” the game. MagiQuest allows you to take a break and come back later due to the game is based on completing individual quests. 

The Great Wolf Lodge is famous for their Indoor Water Parks. I have been to the ones in Ohio, and Michigan so when I saw I there was one close to Florida I had to go!

The Indoor Waterpark at the Great Wolf Lodge is awesome, there is something for the whole family! Explore and get drenched at Fort McKenzie, it has plenty of water sprayers, fountains, and pails to play with. Here you can see the walkthrough of Fort McKenzie, do you want to play?

A step up from the kiddie slides is the family raft ride called “River Canyon Run”.  Twist and dip over this slide’s curves and bends with your whole pack on this family raft ride! You can check out the POV here:

Up next is the Mountain Edge Raceway Mat Slide, this was my favorite out of all the slides because it was fast, and it didn’t punch you in the face at the end like most mat slides do. Here you can see the POV:

After the mat slide it was time to get sliding down Alberta Falls, race down four stories of exhilaration on this single or tandem tube ride. These tube slides were awesome! Which is your favorite? Blue or Yellow?

Aside from the water park and all the resorts activities the rooms are awesome! You can pick themed or standard, and there are plenty of options from a king suite to a room fit for eight. When I stayed I just got the plain room, but when I checked in my room was rented out so they gave me a Whirlpool Suite! In the Whirlpool suite you get an accessible bathroom, a mini fridge, microwave, a hot plate, king size bed, and an indoor whirlpool tub.
Thats All for Now! I had an awesome time at the Great Wolf, it honestly takes a few days to do everything there! So plan on staying for a few days!
