Hollywood Studios Removing Original Filmstrip Automobile Entrance For Upcoming New Auto Plaza

Another original part of the MGM/Hollywood Studios park is fading away; the Original Filmstrip auto entrance is getting dismantled in preparation for Nov. 8th. November 8th Hollywood Studios is opening their all new Auto Plaza which will decommission this entrance entirely. The current entrance pictured above will be used for cast members only, and will no longer have the Filmstrips. ( They may remove the full sign and details on the bridge entirely, but no details on that have been released yet. )

We only can wonder if they will save and re-use the Filmstrips elsewhere on property, or retire them to the scrap yard.

You have until Nov. 7th to enter the park under the iconic blue entrance bridge.
