McCoy’s Bar & Grill at the Orlando International Airport (MCO)

If you’re heading to Disney, you’ll usually land into MCO. There are many dining options at Orlando International Airport, and I had the pleasure of trying out the McCoy’s Bar & Grill located inside the Hyatt Regency hotel in the Orlando Airport.

For me, my flight didn’t get in until 11:30 pm and not many things were open, but I saw the bar from downstairs and went up. Walking into the McCoy’s Bar there isn’t anything really exciting to meet the eye. They have a large projection screen to watch TV, a grand piano with occasional pianists, but other than that it’s just a clean, nice place to get something to eat and relax after a long flight.

McCoy’s Bar and Grill offers an eclectic array of menu items focusing on fresh, locally sourced ingredients combined to produce a globally inspired menu. There are so many great options to choose from so it was hard for me to pick one thing, so I ended up getting the MCO Traveler’s Trio (A Pick Three Option).

My first pick was the Thai Chicken Tenders. These chicken tenders are lightly breaded in a fine breadcrumb, tossed in their signature sweet chili cilantro, and topped off with a spritz of lime.

After choosing the Thai chicken tenders my next pick was the Jalapeno Meatballs. The meatballs stood out to me because I have never seen that combination so I went out on a limb and tested it out! To prepare the meatballs the chef sears the jalapenos and onions and mixes it together with the beef and they sear it. After that, the chef coats it in a Dr. Pepper barbeque sauce. The meatballs were really great! I probably wouldn’t buy it again, but I would maybe make it at home. I feel like when you’re eating out you might as well get one of their other amazing options.

The last pick I chose was the Roasted Garlic Hummus; it comes with Gluten Free chips. I love hummus so having a nice fresh dish was great to balance out the fried food.

I also got a few refreshments to try out, and they were great! I got the MCO mojito, and a Bombay & Lemonade.

These options were perfect to satisfy a hungry tummy after traveling. And the plate orientation was beautiful! Like I said, I only got to experience the Bar restaurant portion but the McCoy’s restaurant has many great options as well!

The Hyatt Regency hotel is gorgeous, even though I live in Orlando next time I fly I want to try staying there because it looks like a neat experience. Just look at this view

Thanks for Reading, and if you are in the airport and in the mood for a bite, I recommend the McCoy’s Bar and Grill!
