Hello Everyone, A Few weeks ago I was lucky enough to head up to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, and go check out all the new updates on the highly anticipated roller coaster: The Steel Curtain.

At a maximum height of 220 feet, The Steel Curtain will serve as a high-energy entry point welcoming guests to Steelers Country. During the near two-minute adrenaline rush, riders will speed through 4,000 feet of track at 76 miles per hour while navigating 9 inversions – This all new S&S coasters will break three records including: Pennsylvanias tallest roller coaster, Most inversions in the US, and the world’s tallest inversion at 197 feet above the ground!

At the Hard Hat Construction we had an exclusive look at the construction, learned where new structures will be, and got to see some of the actual roller coaster pieces and parts. On the Steel Curtain there are over 21,000 bolts to put this baby together, that’s a lot of fasteners!
