Summer is coming to a close, which means fall is almost here. At the Walt Disney World Resort, that means it’s almost time for the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival! For 2018, Food & Wine will begin on August 30th and end on November 12hth.

Returning to America Gardens Theater, the Eat to the Beat Concert Series will make it’s reprise. The series will feature nine new acts including 98 Degrees, MercyMe, Vertical Horizon, Glass Tiger, Sheila E. and Jim Belushi & the Sacred Hearts.

You’ll be able to dance the night away in Future World with the all-new Disney Du Jour Dance Party! The party will take place on the Fountain View Stage on Friday and Saturday evenings throughout the Festival. It will feature great music and activities for kids of all ages. Besides that, you’ll be able to dance the night away with new Disney characters each weekend! You may find yourself at the party interacting with Remy and Emile from Disney•Pixar’s “Ratatouille,” Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps from “Zootopia,” Lilo and Stitch or classic favorites such as Chip ‘n Dale or Clarabelle Cow and Horace Horsecollar! At the Disney Du Jour Dance Party, you’ll also be able to enjoy a concert featuring an up-and-coming artist from Radio Disney.

The Disney Du Jour Dance Party will feature recording artist, IRL, for the opening weekend. The group just came off of their first leg of the American Idol 2018 tour and they will be going on their own tour beginning September 9. If you’re a fan of IRL, be sure to catch them at Epcot August 31 – September 1.

Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival is generally geared towards adults since most of the offerings include trying new foods and drinks. This year though, Disney is offering several new family-friendly activities, including the Disney Du Jour Dance Party. Kids will also be able to explore a new playground in Future World, participate in the Junior Chef Kitchen presented by Krusteaz (Sundays in the Festival Center) and try their hand at rolling sweet sushi treats at Sunshine Seasons with Candy Sushi presented by Skittles and Adventures by Disney.

Party for the Senses is a separately ticketed event that you can participate in this year as well. The party will run on select Saturdays and will include a night filled with incredible food and entertainment. Each party will be headlined by a performance from the incomparable Femmes of Rock. The Femmes of Rock are known for their high-energy shows and electric violins, so prepare to be wowed!

August 30 can’t get here soon enough! Are you planning to visit Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival?
