Volcano Bay | New Years Crowds 2019

With the new year ringing in the Theme Parks are busier than ever due to locals being home from work/school, and vacationers spending time with their families. Which is Great, don’t get me wrong… I just like my empty theme parks, with low wait times 😉

The Earlybird catches the worm! When we arrived at Volcano bay, the parking lot was near empty, there was no line at security, and the bus was waiting for us and ready to go!

Walking in there were only a few guests, waiting to go back to their resorts

This was a beautiful angle of the Adventura Hotel which recently opened not too long ago.

The Volcano Bay Entrance Plaza was near empty as well! I love the fountain lights 🙂

Only a few people by the entrance, who else loves walking into this view?

So the funny thing is when we went to Volcano bay (around noon) the park looked just like this, empty. The slides were basically all ride now (except for Krakatau) then all of a sudden when it was time to leave (around 5) it looked like this.

So. Many. People.

I don’t know where these people came from, and I don’t know when it happened but getting out of the parking garage was an absolute NIGHTMARE. I had my friend with me who was supposed to take up a night shift but it took us well over 45 munites to just get out of the parking garage let alone trying to get to the interstate 4. My friend didn’t make it to work that day (oops)

Thanks For Reding!
